Hi and welcome! I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m a lawyer and law academic with a passion for legal education and justice. I’m currently studying Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of Michigan–Dearborn, and I’ve previously worked as a lecturer at the University of Gondar and practiced in the Amhara Regional State.

I started Habesha Law to share clear, practical legal knowledge with Ethiopians at home and abroad. This platform is a space to learn, reflect, and discuss legal issues that matter to our community.
